BMAM favours SAA with a TAA overlay. The SAA framework is designed to capture returns over the long term, while the TAA focuses on short-term opportunities in response to market developments. With our portfolio management services, TAA can also be used to mitigate downside risks in the portfolio should markets be adversely impacted by external shocks.

We offer wholesale alternative income financial products and solutions that provide high-yield secured income returns. BMAM’s Private Credit (PC) and Private Equity (PE) Division serves as the alternative investment arm, offering a diverse range of non-traditional private credit, alternative income, and growth solutions for wholesale and institutional investors. 

Portica Securities, within BMAM’s PC Division, strategically operates hybrid strategies across various asset classes, industries, and sectors. This division selectively invests in transactions utilising debt and equity structures, including senior debt, subordinated debt, mezzanine debt, and private equity investments in various sectors such as late-stage IPOs, growth equity, acquisitions, control private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and other alternative assets.

INVESTMENT & INVESTOR TYPE:

Investment size: $1m Min – $50m Max.

BMAM PE Division typically looks to invest between $1m and $50m in a single deal. This is a guide only, and we can go outside these limits for the right project. The division does not invest in convertible notes.

BMAM PC & PE Division raises capital from institutional investors, wholesale investors, advisers, and family offices and invests in strategic assets or corporations that are fast-growing or matured. The Division will consider investments in public (listed) and private (unlisted) companies. All PC & PE investments must meet specific eligibility criteria for funding to form part of our PE asset allocation. 

Debt investors can benefit from our private credit expertise with exposure to secured and unsecured debt investments. BMAM is usually the primary issuer, and we negotiate the terms and provide debt solutions directly to corporate and non-traditional borrowers. BMAM does not participate in a secondary transaction that involves acquiring debt from another party.

BMAM PC & PE Division is mandated to generate outperformance in the alternative growth and alternative fixed income market investing in private equity and private credit investments. Our PC & PE strategy adopts a conservative approach to balance sheet management, ensuring our partners can meet collateral asset tests and other matrices before committing our capital.

Our “ZERO (0%) INTEREST LOANS” Initiative for Australians Aged Over 50 and retirees

B. Moses Asset Management, through our subsidiary Equity Income, offers Zero Interest Loans tailored for Australians over 50 and retirees.

This initiative, funded through one of our wholesale financial products, aims to support Australians aged over 50 and retirees in meeting their income needs with our Equity Income – No Interest Loans (0% Interest Loans) financial product

These loans are specifically designed to support consumers within the target market who fall into the asset-rich, income-poor category. With our Equity Income solution, residential property owners can leverage their property to secure cash payments, which are then converted into a no-interest loan. This tailored offering allows easy access to funds without impacting your property ownership.

Wholesale and Institutional investors can diversify their portfolios with our social impact-tailored financial product, the ‘Term Equity Deposit – TED,’ supporting this initiative. It offers returns above CPI (inflation) and/or capital growth.

Do-it-yourself (DIY) investing or self-directed investing is an investment approach where the investor chooses to build and manage their investment portfolio. They do so without utilising the expertise of specialist professional services such as a stockbroker, investment adviser, or financial planner. 

DIY investing is very popular with investors seeking to control their financial affairs with low to midsize portfolio balances held personally or in an entity the investor controls. Generally, DIY investors seek general advice and professional services from specialist advisers in the form of stock reports and other market data to aid their self-directed investment decisions. 

Wholesale and Institutional DIY investors can independently access our bespoke wholesale strategies through self-directed solutions investing in Alternative Fixed Income Funds, Social Impact Funds, Energy, Services, Real Estate, Private Credit, Private Equity, Commodities and other alternative strategies.

For direct access, the minimum deal size is AUD 25 million. B. Moses can process small parcel investments under $25 million through a wholesale Managed Investment Scheme (MIS) or via a syndicate trust SPVs. Under a syndicate investing approach, a group of DIY investors with common interests can pool their capital to invest in deals through an MIS product or SPVs. B. Moses can facilitate the transaction for this group of investors. When you subscribe to a syndicate trust with us, an investor will receive exclusive invitations to transactions or projects you can choose to invest in on a deal-by-deal basis. Joining a B. Moses Asset Management syndicate trust can be flexible as there is no commitment to investing in any specific transactions. 

We collaborate with general advice DIY platforms or service operators for DIY equity market services to support our self-directed investors. Subscribers to this service receive recommendations based on well-researched stock reports, providing guidance on when to Buy, Hold, and Sell. Our platform offers access to local and international market research covering indices, equities, forex, futures, and bonds, all accessible at your fingertips, ensuring simplicity and ease of use.
